Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform precision welding operations on aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium sheet metal parts in compliance with NADCAP standards (AWS D17.1). Ensure all welded joints meet required X-ray inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) quality criteria. Select and set appropriate welding parameters (current, voltage, speed, shielding gas, etc.) based on material type and thickness and weld joint. Maintain proper documentation of route card/Job card, welding log maintenance, daily work log,.. Follow and promote welding safety standards, including the correct use of PPE, handling of gases, and maintenance of equipment.

Candidate Requirements:

ITI Welding or Diploma in mechanical Minimum 5 years of experience in sheet metal welding. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in NADCAP or aerospace-certified welding environments. Hands-on experience with GTAW/TIG and MIG processes for aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium sheet metal. Understanding of weld defects, such as porosity, undercut, incomplete penetration, etc., and their root causes. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, and process specifications. Must be capable of producing X-ray-quality weld joints that meet aerospace and NADCAP standards.
