Job Summary

The Weighbridge Operator is responsible for accurately weighing incoming and outgoing vehicles, maintaining weight records, issuing weighment slips, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and statutory regulations. The role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and coordination with drivers, security, and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor the weighbridge for inbound and outbound vehicles Record vehicle, material, and weight details accurately in manual registers or computer systems Issue weighment slips, gate passes, and related documentation Verify vehicle documents, challans, and delivery notes Coordinate with logistics, stores, and security personnel for smooth vehicle movement Ensure zero tolerance for manipulation, fraud, or discrepancies in weighment Maintain daily weighment records and reconcile data with dispatch and receipt reports Report any equipment malfunction or abnormal readings immediately Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of the weighbridge area Follow safety guidelines and company SOPs at all times

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum qualification: 12th Pass /Graduate (Diploma preferred) Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, data entry, weighbridge software) Ability to read and verify documents accurately Strong numerical and record-keeping skills Good communication and coordination abilities High level of integrity and attention to detail

Experience

1-2 years of experience as a Weighbridge Operator or in a similar role preferred Freshers with relevant training may also be considered
