Job Description

We have urgent requirement for the profile of WEDM/EDM Machine programmer cum Operator for a manufacture company located in Solan (Himachal Pardesh)

CAD/CAM software /Technical drawing interpretation /Problem-solving / Inspection and quality control / Mechanical aptitude /Time management /Team collaboration

Work experience and skills

Good Knowledge about WEDM programming and operation & job setting and taper cutting.

Knowledge and able to work on machine like Makino, Sodick, Mitsubishi.

Skill in AutoCAD for 2D drafting, drawing preparation.

Knowledge about WEDM parameters and setting for different materials.

Operate and set up Wire Cut (EDM) machines for tool and die components.

Prepare cutting programs as per drawing specifications.

Use Vernier, Micrometre, and Height Gauge for inspection - Handle precision part manufacturing and finishing

Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure cleanliness - Collaborate with the tool room team for on-time job completion.

Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

Maintain electrode wear and spark gap as per job requirement.

Ensure quality and surface finish as per standards.

Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work area clean.

Coordinate with QC and production teams for timely delivery.

Program WEDM /EDM machines using appropriate software.

Monitor the machining process to ensure high-quality output.

Inspect finished electrodes and products for accuracy and quality.

Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues as they arise.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes.

Strong attention to detail and precision.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualification

: Diploma in Mechanical / ITI/ Tool making course

Experience

: 2 years to 3 years
