Job Description

We are looking for a

skilled Freelance Wedding Video Editor

who can turn raw wedding footage into

emotion-driven, cinematic wedding films

. The ideal candidate understands storytelling, pacing, music sync, and modern wedding film aesthetics.

This is a

project-based freelance role

with consistent work for the right editor.

Key Responsibilities

Edit

wedding highlight films, teasers, and full-length videos

Create

cinematic storytelling

using raw wedding footage Sync visuals with music and dialogues for emotional impact Perform

color correction & basic color grading

Ensure clean cuts, smooth transitions, and proper pacing Add basic sound design, ambient audio, and music balancing Deliver projects within agreed timelines Follow brand style and client references closely

Required Skills (Skill Matters, Not Degree)

Strong command of

Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve

Experience editing

wedding or cinematic videos

(portfolio mandatory) Good understanding of: Storytelling & pacing Music beats & emotional flow Color correction & grading basics Clean transitions and cuts Ability to work with

large raw footage files

Strong attention to detail Reliable communication and meeting deadlines

Good to Have (Bonus Skills)

Experience with

Indian wedding edits

Knowledge of slow-motion storytelling & cinematic effects Familiarity with Instagram reels & short wedding teasers Basic sound design and audio cleanup skills
