1. Position Overview
The Wedding Manager is responsible exclusively for wedding clients -- from enquiry, onboarding, planning, and coordination, to smooth execution of all wedding ceremonies. This role focuses only on wedding-related operations, not general events or banquets.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Wedding Client Onboarding (Main Focus)
- Handle all new wedding enquiries.
- Conduct venue show rounds and explain wedding packages.
- Understand family requirements, rituals, guest count, and expectations.
- Prepare customized wedding proposals and quotations.
- Prepare event flow, timelines, and ceremony-wise planning sheets.
- Maintain a proper onboarding checklist for every couple.
B. Wedding Planning & Coordination
- Be the single point of contact for the bride, groom, and families.
- Plan all ceremonies: Haldi, Mehendi, Sangeet, Pheras, Reception, Engagement.
- Align with the family on decor themes, food preferences, rituals, timing, entertainment, and logistics.
- Maintain a detailed wedding planner document.
C. Wedding Execution Only
- Ensure every function starts and ends as per the planned timeline.
- Coordinate with F&B, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Front Office, Security, Transport.
- Ensure smooth guest movement and ceremony flow.
- Handle last-minute changes calmly and effectively.
D. Vendor Coordination (Wedding Vendors Only)
- Manage decorators, DJs, mehendi artists, pandits, photographers, dhol, etc.
- Ensure vendors arrive on time, set up correctly, and meet expected quality standards.
E. Guest & Family Experience
- Ensure a stress-free experience for wedding families.
- Provide on-ground support for all needs and concerns.
- Handle issues with a solution-oriented approach.
F. Billing & Documentation
- Prepare and maintain all wedding documentation.
- Track advance payments, balance payments, vendor payments, and final billing.
- Share pre-wedding and post-wedding reports with management.
3. Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of Indian wedding rituals.
- Excellent communication and guest handling.
- Strong multitasking and crisis management.
- High emotional maturity and patience.
- Professional grooming and presentation.
- Ability to build trust with families.
4. Qualification & Experience
- Graduate or Diploma in Hospitality / Events.
- 3-7 years experience only in wedding operations or planning.
- Resort/hotel wedding experience preferred.
5. Work Schedule
- Must be available on weekends, nights, and peak wedding seasons.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
