Wedding & Events Planner

to join our team, with a specialization in

Indian and South Asian weddings

. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of traditional and modern Indian wedding customs, decor styles, and event logistics, and be passionate about creating unforgettable celebrations.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and execute weddings, pre-wedding events (mehndi, sangeet, haldi), receptions, and other social events. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, cultural requirements, and budget. Source and manage vendors for decor, catering, music, lighting, venues, and more. Create detailed event timelines, floor plans, and checklists to ensure seamless execution. Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on schedule. Maintain regular communication with clients, vendors, and team members throughout the planning process. Stay up to date with trends in Indian and South Asian wedding traditions, themes, and design.

Requirements:

Proven experience in wedding or event planning (minimum 2 years preferred). Strong understanding of Indian and/or South Asian wedding customs and rituals. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and client service abilities. Ability to manage multiple events and clients simultaneously. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel to event locations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic event planning software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Event or Wedding Planning (optional but a plus). Multilingual skills (Hindi, Telugu, English.) are an asset. Experience with luxury or destination weddings is a bonus.
