Key Responsibilities
Storytelling & Editing:
Review and organize large volumes of raw wedding footage (multiple cameras, drone, audio) and meticulously select the best moments to build a cohesive, compelling, and emotionally driven narrative in line with the client's vision and our company's style.
Post-Production Mastery:
Perform precise video cutting, trimming, and multi-camera syncing.
Conduct professional
Color Correction and Color Grading
to ensure consistent, cinematic quality across all footage.
Execute expert
Audio Editing and Mixing
, including syncing external audio, cleaning up sound (e.g., removing background noise), and balancing dialogue, sound effects, and music.
Select and integrate licensed music tracks that perfectly match the pacing and mood of each film sequence.
Project Management:
Manage and organize all video assets (footage, audio, project files) efficiently, maintaining a clean, logical file structure for every project.
Quality Control & Delivery:
Create various final video products (e.g., trad video, short cinematic highlight, full feature film, social media reels) and export them in high-quality, optimized formats for different platforms and client delivery.
Collaboration & Feedback:
Work closely with the lead videographer and production team to understand the wedding day's flow and client expectations, and implement feedback/revisions efficiently to ensure client satisfaction.
Innovation:
Stay current with the latest video editing software, trends, and techniques (e.g., advanced transitions, motion graphics, sound design) to continuously elevate the quality and style of Mr.Creative Stories' films.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven Experience:
Demonstrated professional experience (2+ years preferred) specifically editing wedding films or similar narrative-driven, long-form event videos.
Technical Proficiency:
Expertise in industry-standard video editing software, such as
Adobe Premiere Pro
and/or
DaVinci Resolve
.
Artistic Eye:
A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional
storytelling ability, pacing, and visual composition

Detail-Oriented:
Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects, from clip selection and transition smoothness to color consistency and audio quality.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team and understand client notes.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meet tight delivery deadlines, especially during peak season.
Understanding of Film Principles:
Fundamental knowledge of cinematography, continuity, lighting, and sound design.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in motion graphics/VFX software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
Experience in creating custom cinematic sound design elements.
Familiarity with various camera log profiles (e.g., S-Log, V-Log) and LUT application workflows.
