L1 Support Engineer - Onsite Web Application Support

Role Objective:
To provide continuous on-site Level 1 technical and functional support for the NTPC Website, ensuring optimal availability and performance in collaboration with the off-site support team.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver
real-time Level 1 technical support
for the NTPC website and related modules.
Perform
functional issue logging, first-level troubleshooting, and user coordination
.
Escalate unresolved technical issues to the off-site Level 2/3 support team as needed.
Ensure
maximum uptime
of the website and assist in routine performance checks.
Maintain activity logs, incident reports, and coordinate during maintenance schedules.
Comply with internal policies, security standards, and data protection protocols.
He/She will be responsible for day-to-day monitoring, maintenance, and coordination of NTPC website.
He/She must also be adept in Hindi typing if required. It shall be the responsibility of the vendor to depute one technical personnel at NTPC during the concurrency of the contract, who shall be well versed with the management and administration of the database server, web server, content management system, and the updating mechanism of the website.
Eligibility Criteria:
Education:
B.Tech/B.E/MCA.
Professional Experience:
Minimum
2 years
of experience in
web application support
or similar technical roles
Hands-on exposure to
website backend administration, content updates, and basic troubleshooting
.
Employment Terms:
Contractual engagement
through Facility Management Services provider (Bidder).
Must be
available onsite
for the
entire contract period.
Position is
non-remote
and NTPC premises based.
