The Website Operator is responsible for managing, updating, and optimizing the company's website(s) to ensure smooth functionality, engaging content, and an excellent user experience. This role involves handling daily website operations, uploading content, coordinating with developers/designers, and ensuring that the site aligns with brand standards and marketing goals.
Update and maintain website content (banners, product listings, blogs, offers, etc.).
Monitor website functionality and report or troubleshoot any technical issues.
Ensure all links, pages, and images are working properly.
Coordinate with IT/development teams for backend fixes or updates.
2. Content Upload & Optimization
Upload and format content (text, images, videos) in line with brand guidelines.
Optimize content for SEO (titles, meta tags, keywords, alt text).
Maintain product catalogs (add, remove, or modify product details).
Schedule and update campaigns, banners, and landing pages as per marketing plans.
3. E-commerce & Order Management
Manage online product inventory and pricing updates.
Track and ensure smooth functioning of online transactions.
Coordinate with logistics and customer service for order fulfillment issues.
4. Analytics & Reporting
Monitor website performance through tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.
Prepare regular performance reports on traffic, engagement, and conversions.
Recommend improvements based on data insights.
5. Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, design, and technical teams for website improvements.
Ensure timely execution of website campaigns and updates.
Support digital marketing initiatives by maintaining consistency across all web assets.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in website management or digital operations.
Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Magento, etc.).
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
Understanding of SEO, website analytics, and digital marketing basics.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Search Console.
Basic graphic design knowledge (Canva, Photoshop).
Experience in e-commerce operations or website merchandising.

Website uptime and performance.
Accuracy and timeliness of content updates.
