We are seeking an L2 Engineer (WebSeal / ISAM) to support and deliver an upgrade project involving ISAM, LDAP, DB2, and RHEL OS. This is a delivery-focused role requiring strong technical expertise in upgrade planning, execution, and documentation.
Scope of Work
The engineer will be responsible for upgrading the following components in sequence:
1. ISVA (ISAM) Version 10.0.9
2. DB2 Version 11.5 or latest supported
3. ISVD (LDAP) Version 10.0.4
4. RHEL OS Version 9.3
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive upgrade plan including rollback strategy.
Ensure compatibility and architectural alignment across all upgraded components.
Prepare and deliver test plans, execution results, and sign-off documentation.
Provide post-upgrade reporting and handover to client teams (ITFPDF & Architects).
Create and deliver Knowledge Transfer (KT) documentation to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with client teams to troubleshoot, validate, and ensure smooth migration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong hands-on experience with IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM /WebSeal).
Expertise in DB2 database upgrades and related dependencies.
Working knowledge of LDAP (ISVD) administration and upgrade processes.
Proficiency in Linux (RHEL) system administration and OS upgrades.
Experience in planning, executing, and documenting complex upgrades.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and client interaction skills.
