We have a critical opening with our client for Digital Marketting MNC - role for Pune - location.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough UI testing of web-based games, focusing on functionality, performance, consistency, and user experience.
• Conduct exploratory testing to evaluate robustness and functionality of the game user interface.
• Collaborate with game design team to understand intended functionality and user interaction patterns.
• Develop, implement, and monitor user interface testing methodologies.
• Document, track, and validate resolution of identified issues and inconsistencies in the game UI.
• Collaborate with developers to rectify issues and enhance the overall gaming experience.

General QA Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures.
• Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, completeness, and to mitigate risks.
• Participate in product design reviews, providing valuable input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
• Work closely with developers to understand the specifics of the product and its features.
• Stay updated with new testing tools and test strategies.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience with testing at least 3-4 web-based games.
• Strong knowledge of game UI principles, with a solid understanding of the latest standards, changes, and trends in the game industry.
• Proven experience in UI testing, preferably in the gaming industry.
• Proficient in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for quality.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Prior experience in QA testing, specifically for game UI, is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of game design and development processes is a plus.
• Familiarity with programming languages like JavaScript and Python is a plus.
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Game Design or a related field.
