What You';ll Do
This is a role within the EMEA Marketing team, owning web, SEO, and performance marketing to drive pipeline and growth across key international markets. You';ll turn data into insights and help shape digital strategy across campaigns, events, and partner initiatives. With visibility across global teams, you will offer both strategic influence and the chance to build Avalara';s digital presence at scale in EMEA. (#LI-Hybrid)

  • Drive measurable pipeline growth by improving the performance of organic and paid digital channels across EMEA, contributing directly to the regional MQL and revenue targets.
  • Improve visibility and conversion across EMEA';s digital properties by optimizing SEO, web content, and user experience to attract and convert high-intent traffic.
  • Strengthen marketing efficiency and accountability by building reporting frameworks that provide actionable insights across web, paid digital, campaigns, field events, and partner marketing.
  • Enable regional and market relevance by leading localized digital strategies tailored to regulatory complexity and buyer behavior in key EMEA markets.
  • Bridge alignment by collaborating with Marketing Ops, RevOps, DE&;P, and analytics teams—ensuring that EMEA needs are represented in global digital decisions.
You will report into the Senior Director Marketing, EMEA &; LATAM.
What Your Responsibilities Will Be
  • You will own and execute the organic digital strategy across EMEA for UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain and other english tolerant countries - including SEO, web performance, and site experience optimization.
  • You will Lead performance marketing reporting across all channels (digital, events, partner, campaigns), driving data-backed decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • You will Be the go-to performance marketing lead for EMEA Marketing, owning reporting across sales, senior leadership, QBRs.
  • You will Identify performance gaps across paid and unpaid channels and develop remediation plans to address shortfalls in traffic, inquiries, and MQLs.
  • You will Support digital strategy expansion into other markets, contributing best practices, performance insights, and scalable web/SEO frameworks.
  • Monitor and optimize web performance and SEO health
  • Use SEO tools, Adobe Analytics, and (CMS) to review traffic trends, keyword rankings, and engagement metrics across key EMEA pages.
  • Analyze campaign and channel performance across digital touchpoints
  • Pull insights from Power BI, Salesforce, and Marketo to track inquiries, MQLs, and conversion rates—identifying underperforming segments or markets.
  • Collaborate with DE&;P and global marketing teams to improve localized content and implement technical updates
  • Work through Jira to brief web development or DE&;P teams on page updates, A/B tests, or localization needs for EMEA sites.
  • Build reports and dashboards for weekly / monthly / quarterly marketing performance reviews
  • Use SFDC, Power BI and Adobe Analytics to create channel health reports and surface data for leadership on trends, gaps, and recommended actions.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful
  • You have 6+ years of experience.
  • You can interpret data across multiple sources and translate it into actionable insights that drive pipeline and MQL performance.
  • Digital and SEO expertise – Understanding of web optimization, organic search, and digital channel performance.
  • Prior experience managing cross-functional projects or vendors (such as SEO agencies or web teams).
  • You have hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics, Power BI, Salesforce, and Marketo. They';re likely already delivering 5–7 reporting projects per week, including performance dashboards, SEO audits, and pipeline summaries.
  • Certifications in SEO, digital analytics, or marketing automation (e.g., Google Analytics, Marketo). Familiarity with digital marketing metrics and campaign performance analysis is expected.
This is a hybrid remote/in-office role.
