Location: Mumbai

Notice period: immediate to 20 days

Position Overview: Middleware Support Analyst supports operation and enhancement of system integration and middleware solutions globally across all functional areas for customer. This position is part of the Global Technical Services team working with various locations around the world to supporting business solutions and systems that require middleware functionality

Responsibilities:

Provide operational support to middleware applications 24x5 (Onshore /Offshore model) including rotating on-call duties.

Work on incident/request tickets with various technical and business teams to help resolve issues.

Monitor, provide support, and provide expert knowledge for system integrations and workflows.

Create and maintain job schedules and manage execution within expected service levels.

Perform root cause analysis and assist in efficient resolution of all production incidents

Support the Analysis, Planning, Design, and Implementation of Oracle Fusion Middleware implementations, including upgrades/migrations from legacy and/or non-Oracle platforms.

This position will include assisting in the evaluation and implementation of new technology initiatives

Perform routine operations tasks including server monitoring, periodic system health check, integration performance monitoring, resolving production incidents, participate in collaborative working teams, and executing planned production changes.

Ensure ongoing operations remain within established SLA.

Contribute to operational excellence with continuous improvement activities.

Partner with application development teams to fix defects through full life-cycle of software development, including: requirement and risk/benefit analysis, effort estimation, acceptance testing, implementation, and stabilization.

Participate in code reviews and architecture review to assess the new development is done as per standards

Participate in disaster recovery planning, design, implementation, business impact analysis, vulnerability assessment and contingency planning

Demonstrate excellent verbal and written customer service skills through all levels of communication

Contribute to the knowledge repository to help insure that information is disseminated.

Qualifications:

Must have more than 6 years of total middleware experience.

Must have experience with webMethods development including experience developing integration solutions using webMethods.

Experience preferred with webMethods Integration Server, Trading Networks, Designer, MywebMethods Server (MWS), Process Models (BPMS) , Broker,Java Messaging Services (JMS), EDI, WebServices ,Flat Files and Pub Sub model .

Preferred experience in developing solutions for EDI/B2B/BPM implementations.

Experience developing/implementing SOAP/REST Web Services.

Knowledge of web services, XML and defining schemas using DTD/XSD preferred.

Hands on experience in UNIX, Java, PL/SQL , DSP.

Good communication and technical skills.

Good to have experience in Agile methodology using tools like JIRA.

Apex and OEM is a plus experience

4 years Bachelors of Computer Engineering is required.
