Qualifications:
MWS / Trading Networks

• Must have extensively worked on TN Profiles, Document Types, Processing Rules, etc.
• Experience in large file handling (XML and Flat Files) through Trading Networks
• Strong understanding of important services in the WmTN package
• Knowledge of transaction monitoring, activity logs, attributes, transaction statuses, etc.
• Good understanding of Public and Private queues

Integration Server

• Overall good understanding of webMethods Integration Server
• Deep IS Administration knowledge not mandatory, but strong developer-level and conceptual understanding is required

Designer

• Strong development skills using webMethods Designer
• Hands-on experience with Flow Services, Flow Steps, and related components

API Management

• Good knowledge of API Gateway
• Experience in creating, publishing, securing, and maintaining APIs on webMethods
• Hands-on with REST and SOAP APIs

Universal Messaging

• Understanding of Pub/Sub and messaging concepts using Universal Messaging or Broker
• Strong knowledge of messaging components such as:

• Publishers
• Subscribers
• Triggers and their properties
• Document synchronization

Awareness of failure points in messaging and document delivery mechanisms
Managed File Transfer (MFT)
Strong knowledge of MFT configurations for file processing
Experience with Virtual Folders, MFT Events, Logs, and Monitoring
Unit Testing Frameworks
Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and tools (JUnit, integration test frameworks, etc.)
Hands-on experience with:
SAP Adapter (SAP ? webMethods)
JDBC Adapters
XML, Flat Files, and JSON integrations
Exposure to other standard integration adapters and patterns
Design and Architecture
Strong understanding of integration design patterns

• Synchronous vs Asynchronous
• Request / Response models

Experience with:

• Duplicate message handling
• Data validation and error handling scenarios
• Understanding of Clustering and Load Balancing
• Knowledge of deployment strategies and environments

ServiceNow

• Understanding of ServiceNow ticketing system
• Experience using ServiceNow within SDLC and production support workflows

Soft Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Good to Have
Experience with webMethods.io Integration for cloud-based integrations
Knowledge of building workflows, integrations, and recipes * Hands-on experience with prebuilt and custom connectors

• Understanding of trigger-based and scheduled integrations
• Strong skills in data mapping, transformations, and error handling
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting
• Exposure to hybrid integrations (on-prem Integration Server with webMethods.io)
• Familiarity with API-led connectivity using webMethods.io and API Gateway
• Understanding of security, authentication, and token-based access in cloud integrations

Additional Good-to-Have Skills

• Framework-based integration knowledge
• Migration and version upgrade experience
• JMS Messaging
