About the Role:

Homes & Buildings is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated

Web Development Intern

with a basic understanding of WordPress and an interest in IT hardware support. This is a fantastic opportunity for fresh graduates or final-year students to gain hands-on experience in web development and IT infrastructure in a dynamic media-tech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

WordPress Development

Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining WordPress websites. Support the creation of themes, templates, and plugins. Help implement design updates and content changes.

Frontend & Backend Support

Learn and contribute using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Help manage basic MySQL database functions and backend tasks. Ensure responsive design and user-friendly interfaces.

Hardware & IT Support

Assist in maintaining basic IT infrastructure: desktops, laptops, printers, etc. Troubleshoot minor hardware and network issues under supervision. Help maintain inventory and asset documentation.

Performance Monitoring

Monitor website performance and help implement improvements. Support testing and debugging across devices and browsers.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with the design, editorial, and tech teams on daily tasks. Participate in brainstorming and development discussions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of

WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP

. Interest in

hardware troubleshooting

and IT support. Eagerness to learn and grow in a tech environment. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Pursuing or completed a

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

.
