Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated

Web Developer

to design, develop, and maintain our e-commerce business platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and optimizing online stores, ensuring seamless user experience, and integrating payment gateways, product catalogs, and third-party APIs. This role requires both technical expertise and an understanding of e-commerce workflows to help drive online sales and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and optimize e-commerce applications mainly

Shopify.

Manage

Google Workspace and Zoho applications

integrated with Shopify. Strong experience in

front-end and back-end

development, as well as ongoing maintenance. Work with

UI/UX designers

to create user-friendly interfaces and improve customer experience. Integrate secure payment gateways, shipping modules, and

third-party APIs

. Maintain product catalogs, including categories, filters, and inventory synchronization. Monitor website performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement timely fixes. Implement

SEO

best practices to improve online visibility. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and content teams to support campaigns and product launches.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

in technical subject preferred (or equivalent practical experience).

5 -10 years

hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms specifically Shopify. Strong knowledge of

software languages e.g. HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP

Awareness of

SEO principles

, site performance, and analytics tools. Proven experience as a Web Developer, preferably in an e-commerce environment. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Job Details

Job Type:

Full-time, 12-month rolling contract with a 3-month probation period.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm UK time. Weekend availability is required.

Pay:

Starting from USD500 per month, commensurate with experience.

Education:

A Bachelor's degree is required.

Language:

Good English proficiency (C1 level or above) is required
