Summary: Looking for BPO Payroll Processing Manager who is responsible for leading end-to-end payroll operations for multiple clients supported on Oracle PeopleSoft and JD Edwards (JDE) and EBS platforms. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll delivery, compliance with statutory and client-specific policies, manages a team of payroll analysts, and drives continuous improvement and automation in payroll processes. The manager also acts as the key liaison between the client, internal operations, and IT/technical teams to ensure smooth payroll execution and system performance Roles & Responsibilities: - Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients using PeopleSoft and JDE applications. - Ensure accurate calculation and disbursement of salaries, benefits, statutory deductions, and taxes. - Review and approve payroll runs, reports, and reconciliations before final submission to clients. - Manage off-cycle, retro, and bonus payroll runs as required. - Ensure adherence to agreed SLA and KPI metrics (accuracy, timeliness, compliance). - Lead, train, and mentor a team of payroll processors and senior analysts. - Allocate work efficiently across shifts/projects and track productivity. - Provide technical and functional guidance on PeopleSoft HCM Payroll and JD Edwards Payroll modules. - Conduct performance reviews, identify skill gaps, and design upskilling plans. - Serve as the primary client point of contact for payroll operations and issue resolution. - Conduct periodic governance and review meetings with client stakeholders. - Understand client payroll policies, agreements, and special rules to ensure configuration and compliance. - Manage transitions, onboarding of new payroll processes, and change requests. - Collaborate with PeopleSoft and JDE technical teams for configuration changes, upgrades, and patches. - Work with ERP support teams on defects, enhancements, and process improvements. - Implement standardization and best practices across clients and geographies. - Ensure secure handling of payroll data and adherence to data privacy (GDPR, ISO standards). - Generate and review key payroll reports: variance analysis, reconciliation, headcount cost, and statutory summaries. - Monitor and report metrics on accuracy, timeliness, and client satisfaction. - Participates in client engagement activities, helps in optimizing client processes. - Works closely with Oracle support to get quick turnaround on issue resolution. - Delivering client training, demo and Proof-Of-Concepts on areas of module expertise. - Acts as a Mentor to junior/intermediate team members and grooms them Professional & Technical Skills: - Experience in BPO delivery model and global payroll environments. - Proven ability to lead multi-location or multi-client teams. - Strong stakeholder management and client communication skills. - Hands-on experience in transition management and process governance. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong understanding of statutory compliance (PF,Income Tax, PT, etc.). - Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and payroll reporting tools. - Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and control. - Experience in global payroll operations (US, UK, APAC) is an advantage. - Exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll or Workday Payroll is a plus. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) Global Payroll. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, HR, or related field. - Certification in Payroll Management or Oracle PeopleSoft/JDE Payroll preferred.
