Summary: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Core Database Administrator with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in managing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle databases. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in database installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting in production environments. Roles & Responsibilities o Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle Database (versions 12c, 19c, or later) in multi-environment setups (DEV, QA, PROD). o Perform database administration tasks including backup/recovery, cloning, patching, and maintenance. o Monitor database performance and implement tuning techniques (AWR, ASH, ADDM). o Manage user access, roles, and security policies to ensure database integrity and compliance. o Perform proactive capacity planning and performance optimization. o Implement and maintain backup strategies using RMAN. o Troubleshoot and resolve database issues to ensure high availability and performance. o Work with application and infrastructure teams for database-related support and deployment. o Prepare documentation for configurations, processes, and best practices. o Support 24x7 production environment with on-call rotation if required. o Candidate should have strong hands-on experience in PSU and CPU patching. Professional & Technical Skills- o Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 12c/19c administration. o Experience in RMAN, Data Pump, OEM Cloud Control, and SQL tuning. o Hands-on experience with tablespace management, user management, and backup/restore operations. o Familiarity with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard (preferred). o Good understanding of UNIX/Linux environments and shell scripting. o Knowledge of performance monitoring tools and query optimization. o Exposure to patch management and change management processes. Additional Information: o Bachelor's degree o Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is an added advantage. o Experience with cloud-based Oracle environments (OCI/AWS/Azure) preferred. o Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail. o Excellent communication and collaboration skills
