Job Summary

Shamoor Media Group is looking for a Web Developer Intern with hands-on knowledge of WordPress and Shopify to support website development and eCommerce management tasks. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on CMS-based websites, handling product uploads, and managing website pages and collections. This role is ideal for someone eager to build practical experience in web development and eCommerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining websites using

WordPress and Shopify

. Upload and manage products, images, pricing, and descriptions on Shopify. Create, update, and manage website pages, collections, menus, and content. Customize themes, layouts, and templates as per requirements. Install, configure, and manage plugins and Shopify apps. Ensure website responsiveness, functionality, and performance optimization. Assist in website testing, bug fixing, and cross-browser compatibility. Coordinate with design and marketing teams for website updates and campaigns. Support basic SEO setup and on-page optimization. Maintain proper documentation of tasks and updates.

Requirements

Basic to intermediate knowledge of

WordPress and Shopify

. Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript. Familiarity with CMS customization, themes, and plugins. Experience or knowledge of product uploads, collections, and page management. Good problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Prior internship, live project, or portfolio in WordPress/Shopify is a plus (not mandatory).
