The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, launching, and maintaining the fashion store's website. This role includes end-to-end ownership of the website, ensuring a seamless user experience, strong visual appeal aligned with the brand, and smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop the fashion store's website from scratch
Ensure the website reflects the brand's premium fashion identity
Manage website performance, speed, and responsiveness
Implement and maintain e-commerce functionality (product pages, cart, checkout)
Coordinate with design and marketing teams for content updates
Upload and manage products, collections, banners, and promotions
Ensure website security, backups, and regular maintenance
Optimize website for SEO, conversions, and user experience
Fix bugs, manage updates, and ensure smooth daily operations
Track website analytics and suggest improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience with CMS platforms (Shopify / WordPress / Magento preferred)
Knowledge of e-commerce workflows and payment gateways
Understanding of UI/UX for fashion or lifestyle websites
Basic SEO and performance optimization knowledge
Ability to manage a website independently end-to-end
Experience:
2-6 years of experience in web development
Experience working with fashion, retail, or lifestyle brands preferred
