Job Description

Summary of Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop and implement changes and enhancements on the WordPress & WooCommerce platform
* Provide solutions to our e-commerce website and assist with product development requests for new features
* Identify growth opportunities in site infrastructure, on-page optimization and site speed.
* Act as a subject matter expert pertaining to website architecture and work with cross-functional teams to help resolve issues
* Perform Worpress theme customisation with an in-depth understanding of code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy and fallback components
* Perform Worpress Plugin Customization and Worpress cache implementation
* Worpress APIs customisation and integration (REST/SOAP)
* Participate in project & deployment planning
* Translate functional requirements from business users into sound technical designs that meet business objectives
* Develop and review ICS Applications policy and implementation processes
* Support Internal Audit for compliance and development of risk management in your division
Summary of Key Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of Wordpess & Woocommerce architecture.
* Strong PHP 5 & &, MySQL, AJAX, Jquery
* Extensive HTML, LESS & CSS knowledge
* Understanding of modern UI/UX trends
* Strong knowledge of at least one PHP framework, MySQL
* Profound knowledge in various scripting languages, system & server administration and mass system deployments
* Hands-on experience in networking security, databases and cloud systems
* Wide knowledge in operating system administration, programming languages, cloud platform deployment and networking protocols
* Qualified to degree level or equivalent in IT /Computer Science
* Minimum 0-3 years of relevant experience
* Minimum 1 years experience on the 'WordPress & Woocommerce' platform recommended.
* Able to communicate clearly, pleasantly and confidently with staff and external organisations both orally and in writing.
