Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to design and maintain visually appealing, user-friendly websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web design principles, user experience (UX), and the latest design trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop responsive, visually appealing websites aligned with brand guidelines.
Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new website designs.
Collaborate with developers, content creators, and marketing teams to implement designs.
Ensure websites are optimized for speed, performance, and SEO.
Maintain and update existing websites as needed.
Conduct user research and usability testing to enhance UX.
Stay updated with the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web design languages.
Strong knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or Figma/Sketch.
Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first design.
Good sense of aesthetics, color, typography, and layout.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate design ideas effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or Drupal.
Knowledge of basic SEO principles.
Familiarity with UX/UI design best practices.
Animation and motion graphics skills.
