Summary of position

Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining websites using WordPress. Key duties include creating front-end and back-end architecture, Developing custom themes and plugins, and integrating databases and servers. working closely with clients, conducting website performance tests, troubleshooting issues, and providing training. Proficiency in front-end technologies (CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery), and awarness about PHP programming Strong debugging skills, a good sense of design and architecture, project management ability, and effective communication are critical for success in this role.

Duties & Responsibilities

Meet with clients to gather requirements and discuss website design, structure, and functionality.

Design and develop the front-end of websites using HTML and CSS.

Create and maintain website architecture, including navigation, layout, and content flow.

Design and manage the back-end of websites, including database and server integration.

Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to client needs.

Conduct website performance tests to ensure optimal loading speeds and responsiveness.

Troubleshoot and resolve website content issues, technical bugs, and coding errors.

Provide WordPress training and support to clients for website updates and content management.

Monitor live websites to ensure consistent performance, uptime, and security.

Use debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug for performance tuning and bug fixing.

Ensure websites are visually appealing, functional, and aligned with best UI/UX practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, content creators, and marketers.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.

Stay updated on the latest web development trends, tools, and best practices.

Technical Knowledge & Skills:

Proficient in front-end development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery

Strong expertise in PHP programming and WordPress CMS

Skilled in creating custom WordPress themes and plugins

Familiarity with version control tools such as Git, Mercurial, and SVN

Competent in using debugging tools like Chrome Inspector and Firebug

Educational Qualifications

(Minimum & Preferred) Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar field.

Proven work experience as a WordPress developer 3+years .

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?28,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
