Summary of Role



The WordPress Content Administrator is responsible for maintaining and updating multiple WordPress websites, including bilingual sites using WPML. This role focuses on content management, light HTML adjustments, and ensuring site integrity by addressing upload issues and flagging technical problems for developers.

Key Responsibilities:



Update website layouts by adding or adjusting HTML tags to improve structure and design. Post and manage various content types, including insights, blog articles, job postings, and other materials. Review and fix content that is incomplete, not fully uploaded, or overlooked during site loading processes, potentially from a work queue of identified issues. Identify and document website problems requiring web developer intervention, such as plugin conflicts or advanced customizations. Ensure compatibility and functionality across 15 sites, with 6 bilingual ones managed via WPML for multilingual content. Collaborate with teams to maintain site performance, using plugins like Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Contact Form 7, Ajax Load More, and Yoast SEO. Perform routine updates to plugins and themes while monitoring for conflicts (e.g., with Classic Editor, Redirection, or UpdraftPlus).

Qualifications:



Proven experience managing WordPress sites, including content uploading, editing, and basic HTML/CSS modifications. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; 2+ years in WordPress content administration preferred. Familiarity with WPML for handling multilingual content and translations. Strong attention to detail for identifying and resolving content discrepancies. Knowledge of common WordPress plugins (e.g., ACF PRO, Contact Form 7, WPML String Translation). Ability to work with a queue of tasks and communicate issues effectively to developers.

Preferred Skills:



Experience with bilingual or international websites. Basic troubleshooting of plugin interactions and site backups. Understanding of SEO best practices using tools like Yoast SEO.

Pay: ₹285.00 - ?340.00 per hour
