Web Application Firewall (WAF) Security Engineer - 7+Years - Bangalore
Exciting opportunity for a WAF Security Engineer to join a high-impact security team protecting enterprise applications. The role focuses on managing and automating web application firewall policies and security measures using Cloudflare WAF and IaC tools like Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage WAF security policies and custom rules
• Handle L3 support and troubleshoot application security issues
• Automate configurations using Terraform and integrate with CI/CD workflows
• Analyze traffic patterns, logs, and threat reports
• Align WAF policies with application needs and performance metrics
• Stay updated with evolving threats and refine protection strategies

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Web Application Security or Network Security
• Strong hands-on experience with Cloudflare WAF and rule tuning
• Proficiency in Terraform, scripting (Python/Bash), and CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of Zscaler ZIA/ZPA, SIEM tools (Splunk), and public cloud security
• Understanding of web protocols (HTTP/S, DNS, TLS)
