Private Wealth Management
The Private Wealth Management (PWM) business provides end to end Investment Management services and advice across a large range of asset classes for high net worth individuals. PWM leverages a global technology platform offering, an integrated suite of tools, and applications to onboard clients. Our software helps realize a client's goals and objectives, develops and implements an integrated wealth management plan and delivers first-class client service.
The Private Wealth Management Group (PWM) within GS develops and manages relationships with wealthy individuals and family groups, advising them on ways in which to build and protect their financial assets through equity, fixed income, alternative investments and other financial instruments. The successful candidate will join the global PWM Digital team. We develop digital solutions to help clients connect and engage with Goldman Sachs. We work closely with our business partners to streamline business workflows and drive growth. Currently, we are focused on building out our next generation mobile products spanning both iOS and Android platforms.
QA :
The QA helps deliver the quality and performance of multi-platform software products that includes; web, API and mobile application interfaces.
Incumbents in this position are experienced, hands on and self-motivated engineer who can work collaboratively in a continuous integration environment.
This role involves working closely with Software Developers that includes leveraging shift-left methods to understand a complex domain and product.
The person should be hands on to the development of automated Functional, Integration tests and end-to-end tests frameworks for overall system testing within an Agile environment.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Create Behavior Driven Development (BDD) test scenarios from User stories and works with Product and engineering team to review testing scenarios.
Tests complex API, web and mobile based applications.
Creates and maintains automated test cases, executes test suites, reviews and diagnoses reported bugs, and ensures overall system quality prior to a customer release.
Designs, develops, maintains, and troubleshoots automated suites of tests through continuous integration for value added feedback.
Reproduces, debugs, and isolates problems and verify fixes.
Create software artifacts including test plans, test cases, test procedures and test reports.
Works cross functional areas with internal engineering teams in a disciplined agile environment.
Estimates own testing tasks (story pointing) and works productively with minimum supervision while showing excellent team attitude.
Participates in the performance testing and analysis framework for web services and Web UI applications.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Four-year college degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline such as Science or Engineering, and a minimum of 7+ years of professional experience, preferably in either a Software Development or (SDET) Software Development Engineer in Test role.
Must have an understanding and ability to develop code in Java. Strong experience in API testing is required. Experience with XML, Json and SQL.
Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, and/or mobile devices.
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to analyze complex problems in large systems.
Experience with Test processes, designing test automation frameworks, test design strategies, writing test cases, and automating tests in Java with frameworks like Cucumber/JUnit/TestNG, Selenium, and JMeter is preferred.
Must be detail oriented, analytical and creative thinker with passion for quality and test automation.
Experience with gitlab or other continuous integration systems.
Experience with tools & applications such as JIRA, Confluence, Git and Artifactory/Maven.
Must have previous experience with requirements, defect, functional, and performance management systems.
Previous experience with Banking domain is a plus.
