In Private Wealth Management, we help our clients pursue their wealth management goals through careful advice & astute investment management. PWM Engineering plays a pivotal role in building the tools and applications our business needs to effectively manage and support our clientaEUR(TM)s diverse requirements. We support the entire user experience starting with onboarding through to trading, reporting, as well as providing clients access to their portfolios online via native iOS and Android apps. We also build and support numerous applications for our Business and Operations users to help them effectively manage risk and provide the best white-glove service possible to our clients.





Our deposits business provides digital solutions for customers to better spend, borrow, invest, and save. Our growth is driven by a relentless focus on our people, our clients and customers, and leading-edge technology, data and design.



This role offers the opportunity to work in a competitive & nimble team of engineers building and supporting the firm's direct to consumer deposits business. Candidates will work directly with a variety of stakeholders, including the product organization/team, UX & visual design team and various engineering teams across the division to build and enhance the state of the art, industry leading, & best in class online and phone banking platform.

Your Impact

Collaborate with a global cross functional team in building customer-centric products Develop, plan for, and lead team members to build clearly defined software functionality aligned with identified business objectives Lead and mentor junior members of the team Follow and establish standard software development guidelines and best practices Analyze existing software to identify areas of improvement and provide estimates for implementing new features Manage multiple tasks and use sound judgment when prioritizing Participate in user story refinement, technical design, code reviews and the team's Agile process Participate in continuous improvement efforts

Basic Qualifications

Degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent industry experience 4+ of relevant professional experience Experience with Java or other relevant Object Oriented development language Experience with microservices architecture and API development Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases Experience building transactional systems and understanding of software architecture Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Source Control Management systems (i.e., SVN, Git) An understanding of common application architecture design patterns Experience working in an Agile environment
