Position Title: Quality Control Officer
Location: Ahmedabad
Department: Quality Assurance / Production
Reports To: Quality Manager / Plant Manager
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine and non-routine inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and internal quality standards.
Document test results accurately and maintain quality records.
Investigate and report any deviations or non-conformances.
Coordinate with the production team to resolve quality-related issues.
Support validation and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment.
Participate in internal audits and assist in external inspections.
Review and update SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Implement quality improvement initiatives and root cause analysis (RCA).
Report quality trends and provide recommendations to management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacy, or related field.
2+ years of experience in quality control or a similar role in manufacturing or pharmaceuticals.
Knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001, and quality testing procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory software.
