Key Responsibilities:
Develop innovative mechanical or product designs using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA).
Perform engineering calculations and simulations to validate design concepts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and procurement.
Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
Review designs for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with regulations.
Participate in prototyping, testing, and product validation.
Analyze and resolve design-related issues during the production phase.
Stay updated with industry trends and technology advancements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and product redesigns.
Ensure project deadlines are met with a high standard of quality.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in product or mechanical design.
Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo).
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
