Job Title: Account Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks including data entry, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on discrepancies.
Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors as needed.
Handle petty cash and expense reimbursements.
Assist with audits and compliance documentation.
Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and time management skills.
