Job Title: Waterproofing & Quality Inspection Engineer (Dampness/Leakage & PDQI)

Location: Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore.

Experience: 4-6 years in waterproofing & construction quality inspections

Salary Range: ?35,000 - ₹40,000 per month (based on expertise)

We are looking for an experienced Waterproofing & Quality Inspection Engineer to conduct dampness, leakage, and PDQI (Post-Delivery Quality Inspection) checks for residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in waterproofing systems, root cause analysis of seepage issues, and knowledge of finishing activities in construction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct detailed inspections for dampness, leakage, and waterproofing defects in sub-soil areas, wet areas (bathrooms, kitchens), and terraces.

2. Identify the root cause of seepage issues and provide technical recommendations for rectification.

3. Perform PDQI (Post-Delivery Quality Inspections) for B2C & B2B projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

4. Prepare detailed inspection reports with photographic evidence and recommended corrective actions.

5. Coordinate with contractors, developers, and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of waterproofing defects.

6. Ensure adherence to waterproofing best practices and industry standards (IS, ASTM, or other relevant codes).

7. Assist in training junior inspectors and site teams on waterproofing methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 4-6 years of hands-on experiencein waterproofing inspections (residential/commercial projects).
- Strong knowledge of sub-soil waterproofing, terrace waterproofing, and wet area treatments.

- Expertise in root cause analysis for dampness & leakage issues.

- Familiarity with finishing activities (tiling, plastering, painting) as part of PDQI inspections.

- Ability to interpret construction drawings and waterproofing specifications.

- Good communication skills for client interactions and report documentation.

- Willingness to travel within the assigned city for site inspections.

Preferred (But Not Mandatory):

- Certification in waterproofing (from organizations like IIW, STP, or similar).

- Exposure to waterproofing materials (polyurethane, bituminous coatings, crystalline systems, etc.).

Work Flexibility:

- Primary role: Dampness & Leakage Inspections (priority).

- Secondary role: PDQI Inspections (if no leakage inspections are scheduled).

Note: This is a dedicated city-based role, and candidates with prior experience in waterproofing defect analysis will be preferred.
