Job summary

The Waterproofing Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing waterproofing projects across various infrastructure sectors including tunnels, railways, and metro systems. The role requires a proactive approach to ensure the longevity and integrity of structures through effective waterproofing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Site Assessment and Analysis

: Conduct thorough site assessments to identify potential water ingress issues and propose suitable waterproofing solutions tailored to project specifications.

Waterproofing Design and Planning

: Develop detailed waterproofing designs and plans, including material selection and application methods, specific to industrial and infrastructure projects.

Project Management

: Oversee the execution of waterproofing projects, ensuring alignment with design specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.

Quality Assurance

: Implement quality control measures to ensure that all waterproofing works meet industry standards and project requirements.

Team Coordination

: Coordinate with project managers, civil engineers, and contractors to ensure effective implementation of waterproofing strategies.

Software Proficiency

: AutoCAD
Key Requirements

Experience

: 2-4 years of experience in waterproofing engineering, especially within the tunnel, railway, and metro construction sectors.

Education

: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) or a closely related field.

Project Experience

: Proven track record of managing waterproofing projects in an industrial or infrastructure setting.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects Familiarity with local and international waterproofing standards and regulations
