Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and responsible

STP/ETP/WTP Operator

to manage, operate, and maintain our

Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), and Water Treatment Plant (WTP)

. The candidate should ensure smooth operation, compliance with environmental standards, and safe disposal of treated water.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate, monitor, and maintain STP/ETP/WTP systems. Carry out routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Record and analyze plant performance data (flow rates, chemical usage, sludge levels, etc.). Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and statutory norms. Manage dosing of chemicals, filters, pumps, blowers, and other equipment. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards at the plant site. Prepare daily operation logs, reports, and coordinate with management/engineers. Assist in periodic audits and inspections by regulatory bodies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

ITI/Diploma/BE in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering (or relevant field).

Experience:

1-3 years in STP/ETP/WTP operations preferred. Knowledge of pumps, motors, blowers, and dosing systems. Understanding of water quality parameters (pH, TDS, BOD, COD, etc.). Ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical faults. Good documentation and reporting skills. Safety-conscious and team-oriented.
