Title: Warranty Co-Ordinator / Warranty Engineer

Location: Hosur, Tamilnadu

Position Description

This post will involve the responsibility for ensuring that any incoming claims for warranty are investigated, verified, and then processed according to company protocols and procedures. As well as taking a lead to the vendor recovery process. The job holder will work closely with the Aftermarket, Finance, Supply chain, Engineering and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a first point contact for any warranty related quires from dealers & Internal teams.

• Ensure all warranty claims being processed within time frame and provided outstanding support to the customers within India and outside India.

• Responsible for machine data / documents uploading into warranty portal / PLM Software and maintaining the machine records.

• Responsible for the development, improvement, implement and maintenance of effective warranty systems and procedures.

• Responsible recover the coded warranty failed parts cost with suppliers & Supply chain teams.

• Communicate and follow up the customer complaints related to Manufacturing, Engineering and Applications team with relevant team and get the action plan.

• Follow up and reliability issues and actions with concerned engineering team.

• Responsible for generating the weekly and monthly reports like warranty spending and vendor recovery status

Minimum Required Qualifications

BE- Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering / Automobile with 4-6 years of experience.

Experience Level:

• At least 4-6 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working within a Warranty function of heavy equipment manufacturing industry preferably in construction equipment manufacturing.
• Experience in Hydraulic systems and Electricals will be added advantage.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control and problem-solving techniques utilised throughout the manufacturing industry.
• Have the ability to use statistical methods to fault find & support solutions to technical issues
• Experience of recognised quality management system and manufacturing principles.

Skills:

• The candidate must possess excellent computer skills and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications & Warranty systems.
• Excellent communication skills for use with internal and external customers / suppliers.
• Ability to speak in Hindi would be an advantage to perform the task.
• Ability to interpret Engineering drawing
• Drive for results
