As a Team Leader - First Mile, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day first mile operations, including pickup and movement of shipments from sellers to Meesho's sort centers. You will handle a team of executives/drivers, ensure SLA adherence, maintain quality standards, and coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of field executives and pickup associates across allocated zones in Delhi NCR.
Ensure timely and accurate pickup of shipments from sellers/vendors.
Monitor daily operations - pickup completion, MIS reporting, and issue resolution.
Maintain service-level agreements (SLA) for on-time pickups and escalation handling.
Coordinate with sort centers, transport partners, and sellers for seamless first mile flow.
Track KPIs such as pickup success rate, cost efficiency, and productivity.
Handle manpower planning, rostering, and on-ground training for pickup staff.
Drive process improvements to reduce delays, damages, or misroutes.
Ensure compliance with Meesho's safety, quality, and operational guidelines.
Generate and share daily/weekly reports and performance dashboards with management.
Requirements
Graduate in any discipline (logistics/supply chain preferred).
2-4 years of experience in logistics/last-mile/first-mile operations, preferably in e-commerce.
Prior team handling experience (minimum 10-30 field staff).
Strong knowledge of Delhi NCR geography and vendor management.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets for reporting.
Flexibility to work in rotational shifts and travel within NCR as required.
