Job Description

A godown (or warehouse) supervisor's job involves overseeing daily operations, such as managing staff, coordinating inventory, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of the warehouse. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in warehouse management systems

Key responsibilities

Staff supervision and training

:

Assign tasks, manage staff performance, train new employees, and ensure adherence to procedures.

Inventory management

:

Oversee the receiving, storing, and shipping of goods, conduct regular audits, and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory levels.

Operations and efficiency

:

Manage daily activities to maximize output, coordinate with other departments, and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Shipping and receiving

:

Ensure accurate and timely processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments.

Safety and maintenance

:

Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, monitor the operation of equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.

Documentation and reporting

:

Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities and provide performance

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
