Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching raw materials, packaging items, and finished goods.
Maintain accurate stock records for ingredients, supplies, and finished products using manual logs or inventory management systems.
Ensure First-In-First-Out (FIFO) practices are followed, especially for perishable items.
Coordinate with kitchen, production, and front-of-house teams to ensure timely availability of required materials.
Monitor stock levels and prepare reorder requests to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Ensure warehouse hygiene and compliance with FSSAI and food safety standards.
Supervise a team of helpers or store assistants, providing training and guidance as needed.
Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile with records.
Manage packaging and dispatch of finished sweets and savouries for retail counters or customer deliveries.
Coordinate with vendors and delivery personnel for incoming and outgoing materials.
Maintain equipment and storage areas to ensure cleanliness and efficiency.
