Job Summary:

The Workshop Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring efficient workflow, safety compliance, and high-quality output. This role involves supervising workshop staff, managing resources, and maintaining equipment to meet production and service goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate workshop activities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time.

Assign work to technicians and monitor performance to ensure high-quality standards.

Maintain workshop tools, machinery, and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Train and mentor workshop staff, providing guidance and technical support as needed.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement of necessary supplies and spare parts.

Conduct quality control checks on completed work to ensure adherence to specifications.

Handle customer inquiries and provide technical assistance when required.

Maintain accurate records of work completed, staff performance, and material usage.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.

Strong technical knowledge of workshop operations, tools, and equipment.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a workshop environment.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in using workshop management software is an advantage.

Preferred Skills & Competencies:

Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial workshop environments.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.

Hands-on experience with workshop tools and machinery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
