Job Description

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Warehouse Supervisor oversees all warehouse operations (inventory and staff) as a hands-on leader, serving and motivating warehouse employees, leading by example, and fostering a positive team-building atmosphere. Supervision, training, and direct assistance of warehouse operations which include, but not limited to, loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, put away, picking, and inventory control. Leading by example to ensure that all procedures and best practices are consistently followed. Maintain accurate inventory levels by leading regular physical counts with warehouse teams and reconcile discrepancies with the warehouse inventory system. Ensure a culture of safety by enforcing safety standards and adhering to standard operational procedures. Measure and report KPIs (Key Performance Index) and operational metrics to the Operations Manager on a weekly basis and drive an efficient and motivated workforce by providing effective coaching, feedback and encouragement. SUPERVISORY DUTIES: Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores it according to policy. Supervise the unloading of vehicles, checking and movement to locations. Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences. Replenishes stock and inventory as needed. Ensures that all stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse. Transfers inventory to trucks for delivery in a timely manner and according to schedule. Schedules materials being transferred to and from warehouse; coordinates transfer of inventory between departments. Make the GRN and quality check report as per the desired format. Prepare route planning for delivery and pickups Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices. Monitors expenditures; implements corrective actions if needed. Enforces operating instructions and safety policies. Resolves routine equipment issues. Performs other related duties as assigned. Ensure MIS reports are prepared and sent to respective in-charges REQUIRED SKILLS /ABILITIES: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Hindi, Tamil and English) Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Ability to anticipate and solve problems. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines. Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent Salary: 920,000.00 - 922,000.00 per month Schedule:
