Manage day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring smooth receipt, storage, and issue of materials.
Maintain proper inventory of electrical materials, spares, and equipment.
Ensure timely availability of required materials to the maintenance and project teams.
Prepare and maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), issue slips, stock registers, and other inventory records.
Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase requisitions for replenishment.
Coordinate with purchase and engineering departments for procurement planning.
Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation with system records.
Implement FIFO/FEFO methods for material issuance.
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and preservation of electrical items to avoid damage/deterioration.
Adhere to safety, audit, and compliance requirements in store operations.
Assist in vendor coordination for material delivery and returns.
Generate MIS reports related to stock movement, consumption, and shortages.
Qualifications:
Diploma / ITI / Graduate in
Electrical Engineering
or related field.
3-5 years of experience in
stores/inventory management
, preferably in the electrical / engineering industry.
