A Warehouse Operative's primary responsibility is to manage the flow of goods within a warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing products. Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate stock levels through regular cycle counts, audits, and updates in the warehouse management system (WMS). Order Fulfillment: Picking: Selecting the correct items from the warehouse shelves based on order requests. Packing: Preparing items for shipment by packing them securely, labeling packages, and ensuring they are ready for dispatch. General Warehouse Operations: Loading and Unloading: Using equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks to move items within the warehouse. Maintaining a Safe and Organized Environment: Ensuring the warehouse is clean, tidy, and free of hazards, while adhering to safety regulations.
