- Warehouse Manager (Packaging & Test Market Operations)
Location: Kolkata
CTC: ₹6-8 LPA
Reporting To: Operations Head
About the Role
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing inventory, packaging materials, finished goods, and dispatch operations for Citrus by Benaras. This role plays a crucial part in supporting test market operations, ensuring quality storage, traceability, and timely dispatch of products.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
Manage inventory of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods with accuracy.
Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices for food products and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
Coordinate closely with packaging, production, and test market teams.
Maintain proper documentation, stock reconciliation, and MIS reporting.
Implement inventory control measures to reduce wastage and pilferage.
Supervise warehouse staff and third-party logistics partners.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and statutory norms.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations in food/FMCG sector
Understanding of packaging materials and handling requirements
Hands-on experience with inventory management systems
Strong organizational and people management skills
High attention to detail and process orientation
Qualification & Experience
Graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in food or FMCG
Experience supporting test markets or pilot launches is an advantage
