1. Warehouse Operations & Planning
Supervise all warehouse activities -- receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching materials.
Plan daily workflows to meet production and dispatch requirements.
Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse layout to optimize space utilization.
Ensure all activities follow safety and company standards.
2. Inventory Management
Maintain accurate inventory levels through daily cycle counts and monthly physical verifications.
Implement FIFO/FEFO methods to manage stock rotation.
Identify stock discrepancies and take corrective actions promptly.
Coordinate with procurement and production teams to forecast inventory needs.
3. Team Management & Leadership
Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff for optimal performance.
Assign daily responsibilities and monitor task completion.
Conduct performance reviews and skill development programs.
Ensure compliance with HR, safety, and operational policies.
4. Dispatch & Logistics Coordination
Ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods to internal and external customers.
Coordinate with transporters and suppliers for inbound and outbound logistics.
Verify shipping documents and ensure error-free dispatch operations.
5. System & Process Control
Manage warehouse transactions using ERP/WMS systems (Tally or other).
Maintain accurate records of receipts, issues, and stock adjustments.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management review.
Identify process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.
6. Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox meetings.
Maintain equipment and storage conditions as per regulatory norms.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience

Proficient in inventory management systems, MS Office, and ERP tools (Tally/ SAP/ Oracle).
Strong leadership, planning, and analytical skills.
Good communication and team coordination abilities.
Knowledge of safety and material handling best practices.
