The Warehouse Manager will oversee and manage all warehousing operations including inventory control, inward-outward movement, dispatch planning, hygiene standards, manpower supervision, and coordination with production and logistics teams. The role demands high ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain smooth operations for a fast-moving FMCG brand.
Oversee day-to-day warehouse functioning, ensuring timely receiving, storage, and dispatch.
Maintain optimal stock levels of raw materials, packaging items, and finished goods.
Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed strictly.
Maintain temperature-controlled storage as required for betel leaf and paan-related SKUs.
2. Inventory Management
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock audits.
Track variances and investigate discrepancies.
Update stock levels in the inventory management system accurately.
Coordinate with procurement for low-stock or fast-moving items.
3. Dispatch & Logistics
Plan and schedule daily dispatches for kitchens, distributors, and online orders.
Coordinate with courier, cargo, and transport partners.
Ensure all dispatches are packed correctly, labeled, and meet hygiene standards.
Maintain TAT for intra-city and inter-state shipments.
4. Hygiene, Safety & Compliance
Ensure FSSAI and company hygiene standards are met at all times.
Maintain cleanliness, pest control schedules, and safety protocols.
Ensure compliance with audits--internal, external, and regulatory.
5. Team Management
Supervise warehouse staff, pickers, packers, and housekeeping team.
Train team members on SOPs, hygiene, handling of betel leaves, and quality checks.
Create shift schedules and manage attendance & productivity.
6. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain GRNs, delivery challans, dispatch records, and stock registers.
Prepare daily MIS on stock movement, wastage, and dispatch summary.
Report shortages, damages, or operational issues proactively.
7. Coordination with Internal Teams
Work closely with production, procurement, quality, sales, and kitchen teams.
Support urgent shipments, campaign-based demand, and bulk corporate orders.
RequirementsEducation
Graduate / Diploma in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
Experience
3-5 years of warehouse or supply chain experience (FMCG/F&B preferred).
Experience managing perishable goods is an advantage.
Skills
Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and inventory systems.
Good communication and team leadership skills.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving attitude.
Ability to work under pressure and manage fast-paced operations.
Basic MS Excel and familiarity with ERP/inventory tools.
