Job Description

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all activities are conducted efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with safety and quality standards. The role includes managing staff, inventory, logistics, and maintaining systems and records to support timely and cost-effective distribution of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and adherence to company standards.

Oversee receiving, storage, and shipping of products to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Manage inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and losses.

Monitor and enforce safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and other departments to streamline operations.

Develop and implement warehouse layout and space optimization strategies.

Maintain records of inventory levels, supplies, and materials using warehouse management systems.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Analyze performance data to identify areas of improvement and cost savings.

Prepare reports for upper management on warehouse status, KPIs, and operational efficiency.

Technical Skills:

Inventory Management Systems (IMS): Experience using software to track stock levels, orders, deliveries, and audits.

Warehouse Management Systems (WMS): Proficiency in systems like SAP, Oracle WMS, Manhattan, or similar.

Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination: Understanding of the end-to-end process of goods movement.

Forklift Operation & Safety (if applicable): Familiarity with equipment operation, safety checks, and certifications.

Barcode/RFID Technology: Use of scanning devices for inventory tracking and control.

Health & Safety Compliance: Knowledge of OSHA or other relevant workplace safety regulations.

Quality Control Processes: Ability to identify, document, and resolve quality issues in the warehouse.

Computer Skills:

MS Office Suite: Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation.

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems: Experience with software like SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.

Data Analysis Tools: Basic knowledge of tools such as Power BI or Tableau (optional but beneficial).

Email & Communication Tools: Proficiency in Outlook, Teams, or Slack for communication and coordination.

Database Entry & Management: Accurate and timely data entry in inventory databases and spreadsheets.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
