JOB DESCRIPTION:


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Warehouse Manager

to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will manage the receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch of spare parts, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and accuracy in inventory control. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the

automobile sector

.

Key Responsibilities:



Warehouse Operations Management:

Oversee and manage end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods. Ensure smooth and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing stock with minimal lead time and maximum accuracy.

Inventory Control & Stock Audits:

Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records. Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile discrepancies. Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to reduce losses and improve accuracy.

Process Optimization & Layout Planning:

Optimize warehouse layout for better space utilization and material handling efficiency. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse performance and throughput.

Logistics & Dispatch Coordination:

Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for timely dispatch and delivery of goods. Monitor dispatch schedules and address any transport-related issues proactively.

Compliance & Safety:

Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and health & safety regulations. Train warehouse staff on safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Team Supervision & Performance Management:

Lead, train, and manage warehouse staff to achieve operational targets. Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and support.

Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare and maintain Management Information System (MIS) reports related to stock movement, inventory levels, and dispatch status. Generate periodic reports for internal review and audits.

Requirements:



Graduate/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

5-8 years of experience

in warehouse operations, preferably in the

automobile sector

. Proficient in

SAP

,

Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

, and inventory control software. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills:



Experience with lean warehousing and 5S practices. Knowledge of barcode/RFID systems. Familiarity with ISO and quality management systems.

Working Conditions:



May require occasional extended hours or weekend work to meet operational demands. Physically demanding environment, involving lifting and operating warehouse equipment (as needed). Exposure to warehouse conditions including noise and temperature variations.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
