You will report to Site Supply Chain Head. You have to intract will below person/functions ;


Production Internal Logistics team Production Logistics Manager Material Planners Production EPUs Testing EPUs





EXTERNAL




Interaction with vendors and Support team at Bengaluru




Purpose of the Job




Responsible for Warehouse Opeartions.


Responsible for inbound operations, picking, inventory accuracy.


Responsible for workload & manpower planning.




Responsibilities




Custodian of EHS roll out for the warehouse operations.


Report out and take corrective actions for any safety deviations.


Regular safety walks and waste walks (to chase waste away from the unit)


Accountable for Material Handling Equipment - Uptime report, machinery & equipment planning such as storage saturation levels, trollies and returnable pallets.


Plan for Capex based on the warehouse saturation levels, constant focus on the maintenance of trollies and pallets.


Communicate to Procurement Manager and caution on excess inventory to mitigate future occurrences.


Lead a team of Inbound, Picking and Inventory EPUs.


Monitor SAP WMS system for metrics adherence.


Dock to stock < 24 hours. Troubleshoot, if there are any discrepancies in the incoming documents.


Conduct tool box meetings to bring in the awareness of SQCD metrics of the business unit.


Conduct Kaizen workshops to generate cotinuous improvement ideas.


Lead or participate in key projects driven for business unit betterment.


Daily, Weekly, Monthly MIS report out to leadership teams.


Apsys - take the team to the level of 3.5


Quality focus - Support management in ISO / IRIS roll out.

Qualifications & Skills:






EDUCATION



B.Tech/B.E. from any reputed university with minimum experience of 8+ years




Technical Knowledge / Experience




Warehouse Operations Knowledge

SAP - WMS

Basic product knowledge

Rolling stock manufacturing process

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

Management Reporting.

Data Analysis
