Title Warehouse & Logistics Assistant manger

Reports to PC & L Manager Direct reports Master Schedulers, PC&L Improvement Coordinator, Material planners located in the plant. Functional reports PC&L Manager


Main Mission


The role of a W&L Assistant Manager will be Production Planning & Control , Logistics and Warehouse management activities of the plant at the lowest cost with the best service, deploy the PC&L standards processes and continuously improve their effectiveness, efficiencies and sustainability.
Warehouse & Logistics person will be responsible for Plant stock (Inventories, Logistics) and for the execution of the PC&L standard processes related to Customer management and deliveries, production planning, internal and external flows managements.


Deliverables, Performance Indicators

  • Financials: transportation costs, inventory level : Adherence to budget & Flex.
  • Delivery: Customer satisfaction: MPM, Number of incomplete vehicles
  • systems: KPI related to FCS and standard tools usage ( for ex : PIC PDP adherence, Master data accuracy), KPI related to PC&L fundamentals adherence


Activities:


Production Planning & Logistics \xe2\x80\x93

  • Build and commit on Logistics & Warehouse Budget, as per Division/BG PC&L strategy (inventories, transportation, digital tools, shared service scope, etc.).
  • Preparation of Monthly and weekly production Plan.
  • Lead the logistics team for delivery of Parts and Maintain the FG stock as per norms.
  • Inventory accuracy and ensure perpetual and Monthly reconciliation of Inventory.
  • Ensure the warehouse inventory as per JNI.
  • Ensure the FIFO of warehouse Inventory.
  • Ensure the Lean and Kanban system in Plant.

Process standardization and development

  • Ensure customer satisfaction: anticipate customer requirements and maintain good relationships, manage the launch of new programs within the plant, supervise day-to-day activities.
  • Monitor logistics processes: From Long term planning set up to Day-to-day activities supervision: prepare and propose the Sales and Operations Plan (PIC) to the plant management committee, assure the responsibility of the Master Scheduling Plan (PDP) with Autonomous Production Unit (APU) managers, improve & enhance performance and relationships of suppliers and logistics partners.
  • Monitor logistics performance and implement necessary improvement actions in coordination with other plant functions (Quality, Faurecia Excellence System, IT \xe2\x80\xa6).
  • Participate in the development of the Division/BG PC&L network.
  • Ensure adherence to department budget.

Technical competences: Knowledge of the processes
Principles: SAP ERP + Faurecia system
  • Knowledge of the ERP , Production Planning & Inventory Management techniques.
  • Shopfloor management

Business competences: Build some intimacy to have a good relationship with
Customers, Purchasing , Suppliers, Program team & Operation team.
Leadership competences: Lead a team as a Manager \xe2\x80\x93 promote Being Faurecia

Management & Training

  • Provide support (technical/managerial) to his team and escalade issues to his Manager, when required;
  • Cascade all important information to her team ; Provide reporting to her manager;
  • Manage the skills of his team, define the training plans in relation with HR. Conduct the annual assessments of his team members.


Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have/be:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s in mechanical or Automobile industrial or supply-chain management
  • Experience in operations, including Safety and Quality basics
  • Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
  • Customer orientation / Leadership / Team spirit / Autonomy /Rigor / Openness to new ideas
