Job Description

1 Managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and organized storage of pharmaceutical products.

2 Implementing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities.

3 Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment that complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

4 Managing inventory levels, including tracking stock, identifying discrepancies, and optimizing storage space.

5 Overseeing the receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.

6 Implementing and maintaining a robust inventory management system to track stock levels, expiration dates, and storage conditions.

7 Conducting cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliations to ensure accurate inventory records.

8 Managing the disposal of damaged, expired, or obsolete materials.

9 Ensuring accurate and timely picking, packing, and shipping of orders to customers.

10 Coordinating with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to fulfil customer orders efficiently.

11 Managing the dispatch of finished goods to various distribution channels.

12 Ensuring that all warehouse operations comply with relevant pharmaceutical regulations, including GMP, Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA), and state licensing requirements.

13 Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to all warehouse activities.

14 Preparing for and participating in audits related to warehouse operations.

15 Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for warehouse personnel.

16 Managing the security of the warehouse and its contents, including controlled substances.

17 Ensuring proper handling and storage of hazardous materials.

18 Supervising and mentoring warehouse staff, providing guidance and training as needed.

19 Setting performance goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback to team members.

20 Ensuring that all warehouse personnel are adequately trained on SOPs and safety procedures.

21 Generating regular reports on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and performance metrics.

22 Analysing data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

23 Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.

24 Analysing market trends, comparing quotes, and optimizing purchasing.

25 Issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving any issues.

26 Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing

27 Review quality of purchased products

28 Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed

Minimum exp. - 3 yrs working into pharma warehouse
