Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels.

Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconciliation.

Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and storage of products.

Prevent stock discrepancies, damages, and losses.

2. Receiving and Dispatching Goods

Supervise unloading and receiving of incoming goods.

Verify goods received against purchase orders and invoices.

Oversee picking, packing, and dispatching of outbound shipments.

Ensure timely delivery of goods as per schedule.

3. Team Supervision and Coordination

Manage warehouse staff including loaders, packers, and clerks.

Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure productivity.

Provide training and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

4. Warehouse Organization

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Optimize space utilization and ensure FIFO/LIFO inventory methods are followed.

Implement best practices in storage and material handling.

5. Documentation and Reporting

Maintain records of stock movements, returns, and adjustments.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse activity reports.

Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics departments.

7. Technology and Systems Use

Operate and update Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Use barcode scanners, ERP systems, and other logistics tools efficiently.

8. Problem Solving

Address and resolve discrepancies, delays, and customer complaints.

Implement corrective measures to improve workflow and efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
